In the theater of my desires, a stage so grand,
I play the lead, script in my hand.
Boundless cravings, a ceaseless quest,
In the symphony of excess, I find my rest.
Cutting trees and oceans' plunder,
The price of plenty, the world left under.
I reshape nature to meet my whims,
Deaf to Earth's cries, my soul brims.
Harvests and plunders, for comforts he yearns,
Forgetting the price, the planet discerns.
The Earth's limit, an ignored decree,
Three planets needed to fuel his spree.
Prominent overconsumption, fueled by means,
More than needed, these lavish scenes.
Pleasure fleeting, debt in its wake,
While joy resides in bonds and nature's stake.
The desire to own, to discard, to emulate wealth,
The cycles continue, draining Earth's health.
The Earth's plea, a silent scream,
As indulgence thrives in a world stripped bare.
